My first RC crash

Great... A few hours to build, 8 seconds to destroy.

I read *everywhere* on the net that you should not try to fly your airplane when there is more wind than 3-5 mph. The best pilots have trouble if the wind is higher than 10 mph. The problem is that in San Francisco there is always wind, so I have no real choice.

Anyway, I went out to Golden Gate park to try my little RC aircraft. I crashed it 8 seconds after take-off. When I got home, I checked the wind on weather.com (just curious...). It is reported at 20mph...

I broke the propeller, the wing and the engine cowling. The good news, is that these parts are all available as spare (I am not the only stupid pilot).
