The KLN 94 Color GPS is a panel-mounted IFR GPS navigator/moving map display. It features an enhanced version, with color moving map, of the easy-to-use operating system found in the KLN 89B. The comprehensive aeronautical database includes:

• Full airport data, runway information, instrument approach availability and types of fuel
• All communication frequencies and navaids/ILS frequencies
• Non-precision GPS approaches
• Other precision and non-precision approaches (monitoring capability)
• Departure Procedures (DPs) and Standard Terminal Arrival Routes (STARs)
• Capability to automatically laod selected LOC-type approach frequencies into the Bendix/King KX 155A/165A Nav/Comms
• VOR and NDB information
• Intersection information: data about low altitude, high altitude, approach and DP/STAR intersections with outer markers
• Minimum Safe Altitudes (MSA)
• Special-Use Airspace (SUA): Class B & C boundaries, CTA, TMA, prohibited, restricted, warning, alert, caution, danger, traininig and Military Operations Areas (MOA)

Other KLN 94 features includes "vector to final" approach capability, a dedicated "Range" and "Map" menu button for map access, and tailoring and roll steering.
